Come enjoy some of the classic tales and stories that we all grew up reading together on our parents’ and grandparents’ laps.
With Grandma off at a meeting, Grandpa tries to keep his visiting grandkids off their “devices” and get them ready for bed by reading some old-time tales. As he reads, young actors (grades 1-12) bring these stories to life on the stage. Grandpa gives his own spin on classics such as The Elves and the Shoemaker, Hansel and Gretel, The Tortoise and the Hare, The Six Fishermen, The Pied Piper of Hamelin, and Three Billy Goats Gruff.
Join us for a performance as our talented area youth bring the magic combination of storytelling and theater to life at Roosevelt Hall on Friday August 9, at 7 p.m. or Saturday August 10, at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
