It’s exciting to have theater in small towns!
Our 2026 Season — PWP’s 47th!
Up Next at Roosevelt Hall
July 24-26, 2026
A Lakes Area Theatre Guest Production
U.S. Army Captain Jack Ludwig, a military doctor stationed in Oregon, begins writing to Louise Rabiner, an aspiring actress and dancer in New York City, hoping to meet her someday if the war will allow. But as the war continues, it threatens to end their relationship before it even starts. Tony Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig tells the joyous, heartwarming story of his parents’ courtship during World War II and the results are anything but expected.
August 14-15, 2026
When the grandkids are dropped off with Grandma and Grandpa while the parents are gone on an overnight trip with Grandma gone for the evening, Grandpa relies on classic bedtime stories to overcome the grandkids’ temptations to play on their devices. Can the kids be drawn away from modern technology? Can Grandpa make it through the evening until Grandma gets home from her meeting? As Grandpa reads, the stories come to life on the stage with youth in grades 1-12 acting them out.
